Nampeyo

Born: Hano Pueblo, Arizona. Mother was White Corn (Qu-tca-ka-o), Tewa. Father was Quootsva (Qots-vema), Hopi. In about 1879, Nampeyo married Kwii-vio-ya. Two years later she married Lesso (Lesou) (B.?-d.1930), son of a Walpi elder. They had five children: Annie (b.1884-d.?), William (b.1887-d.?), Nellie (Ta-wee) (b.1896-d.?), Wesley (Tu-hi-kya) (b.1899-d.?), and Fannie (Po-pong-mana) (b.1900-d.?).
