BiographyRuth Reeves biographical information: After completing her formal training as a painter in 1915, Reeves spent several years in Paris, experimenting with hand printing. She then turned to textiles, becoming an important American designer, most known from the 1920's through the 1940's. She participated in the first American Designer's Gallery exhibition in 1929 and then in 1932 collaborated in the decoration of Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
